At least 15 people were injured, some seriously, after a grenade was thrown into a crowded bar in Puerto Vallarta
Approximately 100 people were in the crowded bar in the internationally-popular Mexican beach resort of Puerto Vallarta on Wednesday night when the attack occurred. Four of the injured people lost limbs in the attack.
No motive for the attack was immediately reported.
More than 28,000 people have died in escalating drug violence since late 2006 in Mexico but attacks on tourists remain rare.
